E2E in Požega: Supporting Youth through Innovative Career Guidance and Local Partnerships
During a working visit to Požega, representatives of the From Education to Employment (E2E) project participated in a series of activities dedicated to strengthening career guidance and counselling services for young people, enhancing cooperation with local institutions, and promoting innovative tools for career orientation.
The visit was organized in cooperation with the JOB INFO Centre Požega, the Technical School in Požega and the Zlatibor Regional Development Agency.
The programme started with a working meeting with school representatives and local stakeholders, focusing on the needs of young people, the importance of career guidance and counselling, and opportunities for further cooperation between education, local communities and the labour market.
On this occasion, VR glasses were ceremonially donated by the Head of E2E project Oliver Streit to the Technical School in Požega, providing students with an innovative and interactive way to explore professions and career opportunities. This initiative is part of the project’s broader support to JOB INFO Centres and local partners across Serbia aimed at modernizing career guidance services.
The visit also included a public debate on career guidance and counselling attended by students, school representatives, local institutions and media. Discussions highlighted the importance of providing young people with timely and high-quality support in making informed educational and career decisions.
During the visit, a podcast episode was also recorded, focusing on youth support, the connection between education and the labour market, and the role of local partnerships in creating sustainable opportunities for young people.
Through cooperation with local partners across Serbia, the E2E project continues to support the development of modern, accessible and innovative career guidance and counselling services for young people.
