E2E Support MoLEVSA in Development of Serbia’s New Employment Strategy for 2027–2032

As part of its support for the development of the Republic of Serbia’s new Employment Strategy for 2027–2032, the From Education to Employment (E2E) project supported the organisation of a working meeting bringing together representatives of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs (MoLEVSA) and the National Employment Service (NES).

The meeting was held in Belgrade on 27 and 28 August to discuss the findings of the ex-post analysis of the Employment Strategy for 2021–2026 and the ex-ante impact assessment of the Employment Strategy for 2027–2032. It also served as preparation for the first meeting of the Working Group established by MoLEVSA to develop the new strategic employment policy document, scheduled for 17 September.

The meeting was chaired by Zoran Martinović, Assistant Minister for Labour and Employment.

Jelena Vasić presented the main findings of the ex-post analysis on behalf of MoLEVSA, while consultants Vesna Pantelić and Katarina Stančić presented the results of the ex-ante impact assessment of the Employment Strategy for 2027–2032. The consultants were engaged by the E2E project to prepare the assessment.

The E2E project and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) are providing strong support to MoLEVSA in developing the new Employment Strategy for 2027–2032, as well as the Action Plan for its implementation during the first three-year period, from 2027 to 2029.
