Enhancing Employment Regulations: Follow-up Workshop in Belgrade

Belgrade, March 19, 2025 – The Education to Employment (E2E) project continues its efforts to improve employment regulations. Today, a follow-up workshop was held at IN Hotel in Belgrade, focusing on amendments to the Regulation on Spatial and Technical Conditions for Employment Agencies, as well as the requirements for employee qualifications, the examination program, content, and procedures for working in the employment sector.

The first part of this workshop, conducted on November 28, 2024, focused on drafting amendments to the Regulation. Today’s session was dedicated to developing the necessary forms that will enable the application of the Regulation and its effective and consistent implementation.

This initiative is carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, aiming to enhance employment policies and create a more supportive environment for employment service providers and career guidance professionals. The Education to Employment project actively supports the National Employment Service, private employment agencies, and civil society organizations in implementing measures outlined in strategic employment documents.

The workshop was attended by representatives from the Ministry, the National Employment Service, and the Education to Employment project, who engaged in constructive discussions to refine regulations, ultimately aiming for a more organized and professional employment sector in Serbia.

This follow-up workshop demonstrates that through collaboration and continuous refinement of regulations, it is possible to enhance the employment system and create a more favourable environment for further development of Serbia’s labour market.
