Workshop on Competency Assessment in Career Guidance and Counselling Successfully Held
Belgrade, 11.12.2024. – On December 10-11, 2024, the Education to Employment (E2E) project hosted a successful workshop dedicated to career guidance and counselling (CGC) tools, focusing on competency assessment and job profile development. Held at the Zira Hotel in Belgrade, the event gathered new practitioners from Job Info Centers to enhance their skills and capacities for providing CGC commercial services to companies.
This workshop is part of the second phase of the CGC program, which can be commercialized and adapted to meet the needs of individuals and companies in career planning, competency assessment, and staff selection for training and employment.
During the workshop, participants explored methods for competency assessment, job profile development, and the use of tools such as the “Basic Check” test and competency cards. They also engaged in practical simulations to apply the acquired knowledge and skills, with a focus on aligning job requirements with assessed competencies.
The second day was dedicated to collaboration with employers and the role of local Job Info Centers in supporting companies to improve internal training practices.
This activity reaffirms the importance of continuously strengthening the capacities of career guidance and counselling practitioners. We thank all participants for their contributions to improving the quality of services offered through 11 Job Info Centers, further advancing the goals of the Education to Employment project.
