Belgrade, 2 December 2025 — The Education to Employment (E2E) project and the Forum of Youth with Disabilities (FMI) jointly marked the successful completion of the project “Work Placement for Youth with Disabilities”, aimed at improving access to quality work-based learning opportunities and supporting inclusive employment practices in Serbia.
The closing event, held at Hotel Zira, brought together young people with disabilities, employers, Job Info Centers, local governments and representatives of the National Employment Service to reflect on the results, lessons learned and next steps for sustaining inclusive labour-market practices.
The programme opened with introductory remarks and a short overview of project achievements, followed by Panel 1, where youth participants and employers shared their experiences with high-quality internships and the impact these opportunities had on confidence, skills development and workplace inclusion.
Participants also had the opportunity to watch a short documentary film presenting real stories from the work-placement programme.
The second discussion, Panel 2, focused on local policies and support services for inclusive employment. The panel was moderated by Milena Janković from the E2E project, who guided the discussion with representatives of the National Employment Service and partners from local communities.
In closing, speakers emphasized the importance of continued cooperation and further scaling of inclusive work-placement models across Serbia, reaffirming the commitment of all partners to strengthening employment opportunities for young people with disabilities.
