Shaping Skills for the Future: The “From Education to Employment” Project at the Smart Balkans Conference in Budva

The “From Education to Employment” (E2E) project took part in the Smart Balkans: Shaping Skills for a Sustainable, Competitive Future – Navigating VET in a Digital and AI World conference, held on 9 October in Budva, Montenegro.
The event was organized by the Regional Challenge Fund (RCF) as part of its Annual Regional Conference, bringing together representatives from the six Western Balkan countries, policymakers, Chambers of commerce, vocational education and training (VET) providers, businesses, and international partners. Discussions focused on how dual and vocational education can adapt to the digital and AI era, foster sustainable skills, and strengthen regional competitiveness.
The E2E project was represented by Mirjana Bojanić, Senior Advisor for Education and Educational Policy, who joined the event to follow discussions on the conference topics.
Through its continuous work both at the policy and local level, E2E actively contributes to shaping solutions that connect education and employment, promoting future-ready skills across Serbia.
E2E also joined Workshop 2: “ESG Essentials – AI-Driven Certification and Governance for Western Balkans Businesses”, presenting practical guidance on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) standards.
