The Second Steering Committee Meeting of Phase III of the “From Education to Employment” Project Held

Belgrade, September 23, 2025 – The second meeting of the Steering Committee for the phase III of the Swiss-Serbian project From Education to Employment (E2E) was held at the premises of the National Academy for Public Administration. The session gathered representatives of key partner institutions, including the Swiss Cooperation Office, the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, the Office for Dual Education and the National Qualifications Framework, the National Employment Service, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, the Qualifications Agency, as well as other relevant stakeholders.
The meeting was co-chaired by Dragica Ivanović from the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, and Katrin Ochsenbein from the Swiss Cooperation Office.
During the session, participants focused on reviewing the progress, discussing implementation challenges and results achieved so far within the project, as well as outlining key priorities for the upcoming period. The discussions emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination among partners to ensure that activities are aligned with current labour market demands and the project’s sustainability objectives for the future year.
At this meeting, the strategy and action plan of the newly established Job Info Center Association (JIC) was presented by the elected legal representative Lazar Đoković. As the first association in Serbia dedicated to the systemic and professional development and promotion of career guidance and counseling (CGC), the establishment of the JIC Association marks an important step toward strengthening the sustainability and visibility of career services at the national level, as well as on local level where, currently, selected JIC partners are implementing the EU Youth Guarantee within three pilot regions.
The E2E continues to bridge education and the labor market through cooperation with institutions and organizations that share common goals, with a strong focus on empowering young people, companies, and career services across Serbia.
