E2E Story – 13 applicants for training in "Krstić" tools production company

Pirot: Mira Zlatkov from the JOB Info centre, a person in charge of on-the-job training, said that there were 13 applicants for the training in Alatnica “Krstić".

The call for on-the-job training, which the Job Info centre published, within the “Education to Employment” programme, ended on 15 August. Three candidates will be trained for this profession in Alatnica "Krstić" in Pirot. The duration of training will be five months. During the training the trainees will receive financial allowance and the best of them will also receive a job offer.

“The application period is followed by the selection of candidates which will be made by the representatives of this company. we expected to start the training for this profession before end of September“, Zlatkov said.

She noted that a public call has been open for all companies which have need for skilled workforce and for new employment to apply before end of year.

“Now ongoing is the training for ten trainees in Photon optronics Company in Niš, for operators in the production of optical elements. This company has already participated in our training programme. As we have already said, the programme of training of CNC machine operators has also been approved. Call for young people who would like to be trained for this profession will be open in the period 14 July – 15 August“, Zlatkov said.

She particularly stressed that all those who would be undergoing training for this profession will be receiving financial allowance.

“On-the-job training programmes take place in companies and the trainees enter into contracts with companies. They undergo the WBL programme with experienced mentors and receive financial allowance for the work they do. That’s to motivate and encourage them to show themselves in the best light possible and create for themselves a chance to get a job after they complete their training, which is the ultimate goal of every trainee“, Zlatkov said.

According to her, Job Info Centre received applications from the employers belonging to different sectors.

“It is possible that there will be more interest for CNC machine operators and similar professions in the machinery sector. There is some interest shown by dairy processors as well as by some specific professions in IT companies in Niš. When we have further programmes approved for companies, we will publish calls for young people so that they could apply for some of these professions which will be available“, Zlatkov announced.

Zlatkov added that a public call from companies which look for trained workforce is open from 20 June until the end of year, within the “Education to Employment”' project.

We would like you to note that the “Education to Employment” project is financed by the Governments of Switzerland and Serbia and that it considerably reduces youth unemployment through the development of extracurricular training programmes for the jobs which are in demand at the local labour market.

The implementation of the project started in 2015 and it has been successfully implemented in Pirot, Kruševac, Kragujevac, Knjaževac, and Novi Pazar. Last year the project has been expanded to include further several towns in Serbia.

Calls before end of year

“The call for companies will be open until end of year. We are collecting applications. When a specific programme is approved, we publish public calls. Everything is available on our website, social networks, and media. Everybody can obtain information in our Job Info Centre, too”, Zlatkov invited all interested companies.
