In the past year, employers in the five municipalities with available E2E programme,  have demonstrated employers’ need for certain professions and have organized workplace training courses for young people. Here, you can get to know all the job occupations your peers have trained for.

AN OPERATOR IN THE PRODUCTION OF CAR SEAT COVERS

Occupation description: An operator in the production of car seat covers sews and assembles car seat covers using different types of machines. This profession involves knowledge of the operation of several types of sewing machines, hemming, sewing plastics, as well as an iber machine. Some of the activities of the operator in the manufacture of car seat covers are knowledge of the ODS list, how to read it and what it serves for, the safe use of the sewing machine, the identification of the correct materials and components that are sewn and their proper assembly, the self-control of the work done, or the recognition of errors during the process and performing corrections correctly. The job of an operator in the production of car seat covers mainly involves working in a standing position indoors.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: Due to the nature of the job requiring full concentration and precision, the operator in the production of car seat covers must be dedicated to detail, to have a “sharp eye”, to be accurate, fast, nimble.

Work-based-learning training: The operator in the production of car seat covers training consists of a theoretical and practical part. The first part of the training is of theoretical type and consists of frontal lectures and presentations by lecturers, individual assignments, examination learned through questions and discussion. WAITER

Occupation description: The waiter serves food and drink at the restaurants and cafes. After receiving an order from the guests, they pass it on to the bar staff and make sure that the guests are served and treated as quickly as possible. Some of the waiters’ obligations are: receiving an order from a guest, passing an order to staff, setting up tables, tidying up tables after use, invoicing, charges for the services. Depending on the type and category of the catering facility, waiters may also be required to perform special tasks such as welcoming guests at the entrance of the restaurant, escorting to a table, holding a chair to a guest, assisting with the disposal of the wardrobe, and advising on the choice of dishes (specialties of the house). The waiter performs pre-service preparation work, maintains appliances and catering inventory, sets up tables, serves all kinds of food and drink. Mostly, waiters work indoors and in cosy spaces, and that makes the nicer side of this occupation. Otherwise, this occupation is quite demanding because of the prolonged and uneven working hours, which they mostly spend on their feet carrying loads. They often have to work at night, on weekends and holidays.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: Due to the nature of the job which requires constant and immediate communication with the guests, the waiter must be kind, attentive, accurate, prompt, open and very communicative. The waiter also needs to be physically fit and agile.

Work-based-learning training: Waiter training consists of a theoretical and practical part. The first part of the training is of theoretical type and consists of frontal lectures and presentations by lecturers at the Hospitality School, individual assignments, examination learned through questions and discussion. After completing the theoretical part of the training, the practical part in bars or restaurants follows, which includes explaining the concepts and ways of working and demonstration of work showed by the mentor (instructor), pilot work of the trainees, with the supervision and assistance of the mentor, independent practicing of the learned, final examinations of the acquired knowledge and skills – assessment of the level of progress of the trainees. During the practical part, trainees learn about waiter profession in practice, they are developing the necessary knowledge and skills, with experienced mentors and experts in this field.

WELDER

Occupation description: Welders connect metal parts by heating process. At high temperatures, the metal melts and merge into a compact unit. Due to the strength of welded parts, welding is used for the construction and repair of high-load structures. Welders perform their work according to the appropriate technical and technological documentation (descriptions, technical drawings, sketches). The welding process depends on the material and the purpose of the object being processed. Most welder’s job is done indoors in factory halls. Due to the specific nature of the welding profession and the risks to which welders are exposed, particular attention is paid to work safety. Welders use protective clothing with special fireproof aprons, safety shoes, safety gloves, eye and face shield (welding mask).

Attitudes required for this occupation are: Welder needs to be precise, tidy, to keep standards and quality in mind, and to be concentrated when handling the tools. It is very important that welder has healthy musculoskeletal system and respiratory system. Welders must have the ability to assess spatial relationships and their hands must be deft and calm in order to produce welds of the highest quality.   

Work-based-learning training: Welder training consists of a theoretical and practical part. The first part of the training is of theoretical type and consists of frontal lectures and presentation of lecturers, group exercises, individual assignments, examination learned through questions and discussion and exit test after theoretical teaching in the classroom. After completing the theoretical part of the training, training on safety in the workplace, the practical part follows, which includes explaining the concepts and ways of working directly with the equipment showed by the employees, demonstration of work on the apparatus and equipment by the mentor (instructor), pilot work of the trainees, with the supervision and assistance of the mentor, independent practicing of the learned, final examinations of the acquired knowledge and skills – assessment of the level of progress of the trainees. During the practical part, trainees learn about welder profession in practice, they are developing the necessary knowledge and skills, with experienced mentors and experts in the field.

CHILDREN’S PERSONAL ESCORT

Occupation description: Personal assistant/ Children’s personal escort is providing individual support to children with disabilities, or children with development disabilities, in the process of inclusion in formal education, meeting basic needs and gaining bigger level of independent functioning as possible. Responsibilities of personal assistant depend on individual needs of the child and defined individual service plan, mainly to assist the child in moving, maintaining personal hygiene, eating, communicating with others, support the child during the educational process (formal education and educational activities in community), as well as completing documentation and informing others about child’s progress and achievements. In everyday work, personal assistant uses different didactical tools (books, writing and drawing supplies), requisites for sports and educational activities, assistive technology, individual education plan, individual service plan, work dairy, work report.

Attitudes required for this occupation: Personal assistant for children with disabilities needs to have completed a four-year secondary vocational education, preferably educational profile for nurse-educator, or completed high education for kindergarten teacher VI or VII level, to be responsible, to show empathy and kindness, to be patient, creative, focused on the needs of the child, able to build a relationship of trust, to have communicational skills, to be a good listener and observer. 

Work-based-learning training: Training for personal assistant is consists of a theoretical and practical part. The first part of the training is theoretical type and consists of frontal lectures and presentation of lecturers, group exercises, individual assignments, examination of learned through questions and discussion and exit test after theoretical teaching in the classroom. After completing the theoretical part of the training, the practical part follows, which takes place in kindergarten, elementary or secondary school with children with disabilities, and includes explaining the concepts and ways of working by the employees, demonstration of work in educational groups/classes, completing documentation, pilot work of the trainees, with the supervision and assistance of the mentor, independent practicing of the learned, evaluation of trainees, final examinations of the acquired knowledge and skills – assessment of the level of progress of the trainees.

CARDBOARD BOXES PRODUCER

Occupation description: Cardboard boxes producer performs tasks of preparation for the work realization and production, the production of cardboard boxes, handling of finished product and equipment maintenance. Some of the obligations of the Cardboard boxes producer are: embossing, peeling and stamping of boxes, adjusting machines, raw materials handling, packing products in pallets, cleaning all moving parts of machines. Most of the work of Cardboard boxes producer is done indoors, mostly in the factory. In daily business, he uses: pallet, raw materials, cardboard gluing machines, stretch machines, utility tools.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: It is desirable for the Cardboard boxes producer to have completed 4 years of secondary education, but a minimum of III educational level is required. It is expected from the Cardboard boxes producer to be precise, neat, to keep standards and quality in mind, to be concentrated when handling tools, to have basic craft skills to repair minor machines failures.

Work-based-learning training: Cardboard boxes producer training consists of a theoretical and practical part. The first part of the training is theoretical type, consists of frontal lectures and presentation of lecturers, group exercises, individual assignments, examination learned through questions and discussion. HEARING AID TECHNICIAN

Occupation description: The hearing aid technician performs tasks on hearing measurement, development of hearing aids and communication with clients. Some of the hearing aid technician’s responsibilities are the patient examination, making and servicing a hearing aid, delivering a hearing aid and internal and external communication. Most hearing aid technician jobs are done indoors and in a quiet atmosphere that allows full concentration when making small products that require precision. In everyday work, he uses: otoscope, audiometer, computer, software for measuring hearing in-situ, soldering iron, tools for the production of hearing olives and apparatus.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: The hearing aid technician needs to have completed a four-year secondary vocational education, preferably in health care, but also to be precise, neat, to keep up with standards and quality, to be concentrated when handling tools, to show empathy and kindness, to be communicative, enterprising, flexible in relation to customers and associates.

 

Work-based-learning training: Hearing aid technician training consists of a theoretical and practical part. The first part of the training is of theoretical type and consists of frontal lectures and presentation of lecturers, group exercises, individual assignments, examination learned through questions and discussion and exit test after theoretical teaching in the classroom. After completing the theoretical part of the training, the practical part follows, which includes explaining the concepts and ways of working directly with the equipment showed by the employees, demonstration of work on the apparatus and equipment by the mentor (instructor), pilot work of the trainees, with the supervision and assistance of the mentor, independent practicing of the learned, final examinations of the acquired knowledge and skills – assessment of the level of progress of the trainees. During the practical part, trainees learn about hearing aid technicians profession in practice, they are developing the necessary knowledge and skills, with experienced mentors and experts in the field.

PAPER MACHINE OPERATOR

Occupational description: The paper machine operator performs tasks on the manufacture of semi-finished products and finished products made of paper and cardboard, as well as on the printing and packaging of these products. Some of the paper machine operator’s responsibilities are: cardboard laminating, precise machines and tools fitting and adjustment, quality control, work on the offset printing machine, packaging of products in the adequate packing. Most of the paper machine operator procedures are carried out in factory halls and indoors. It is necessary that the paper machine operator knows the principles and rules of safety and protection at work. In everyday work, he uses: laminating machine, electric forklift, cutting machine, paper tape presser, stapler, auxiliary tool.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: The paper machine operator needs to be precise, neat, to take care of the standards and quality, to be concentrated when handling machines, to pay attention to the quality of the print, the amount of colour and chemistry in the machine.

On-the-job training: The training for a paper machine operator consists of a theoretical and practical part. The first part of the training is of theoretical type, lasts 100 hours and takes place in companies that in their day-to-day business have a need for this workers profile. Through this part of the training, candidates are to be prepared for the practical part. Upon completion of the theoretical part of the training, the practical part, which takes place in one of the partner companies, lasts 360 hours. During the practical work, the candidates learn the practice of paper machine operator, develop the necessary knowledge and skills, with experienced mentors and experts in the field.

PVC AND ALU JOINERY INSTALLER 

Occupational description: PVC and ALU joinery installer performs tasks on the manufacture and installation of products (windows, shutters, mosquito nets), product remodelling at the place of installation, as well as communication and administration at the workplace. Some of the PVC and ALU joinery installer’s obligations are: hole drilling, window conservation, shutters’ shelving and packaging, mosquito nets’ assembling, but also proper use of technical documentation, communication with associates and clients, product placement presentations. Most of the PVC and ALU joinery installers’ tasks are done outside and often at a height. In everyday work they use: a drill, a grinder, a screwdriver, a ger machine, a hammer, a silicone.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: The PVC and ALU joinery installer needs to be precise, conscientious, responsible, focused, not afraid of height, and also to efficiently plans and organizes time and to respect the team work principles.

On-the-job training: The training for a PVC and ALU joinery consists of a theoretical and practical part. The first part of the training is of theoretical type, lasts 56 hours and takes place in companies that in their day-to-day business have a need for this workers profile. Through this part of the training, candidates are to be prepared for the practical part. Upon completion of the theoretical part of the training, the practical part, which takes place in one of the partner companies, lasts 304 hours. During the practical work, the candidates learn the practice of PVC and ALU joinery installer, develop the necessary knowledge and skills, with experienced mentors and experts in the field. After completion of the practical part of the training, the participants take the final exam. To those candidates who pass the final exam, leave the best impression on the practical part of the training and meet the requirements of the partner company, the employment opportunities are to be offered.

ELECTRICAL INSTALLER

Occupational description: The electrical installer performs tasks on assembling air and cable lines, transformer stations, and distribution facilities. Some of the obligations of the electro-installers are: installation, installation and connection of electro cabinets of all types, types and purposes, replacement of meters. Most of the work of the electrical installer is done outside and at a height.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: The electrical installer needs to be precise, responsible, patient, focused and not afraid of heights.

On-the-job training: The training for an electrical installer consists of a theoretical and practical part. The practical part is done by the company ”Elektromontaža”, which in its day-to-day business has the need for this workers profile. The aim of the training is to improve and acquire the competences of young people in the field of electrical industry and increase employment opportunities. The results of the training are acquired knowledge, skills and attitudes for proper and safe operation at altitude and with electricity.

PRINTING OPERATOr

Occupational description: Printing operator is responsible for the final stages in the production of graphic material, which contains next competence areas: preparing signatures for collecting; preparing the book sheet; preparing the covers; inserting the book into the covers; finishing the product using the cylinder; packing the product; daily machine maintenance. Printing operator works with different machines, but the most of the work is done manually and indoors.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: precise, responsible, patient, calm, tolerant, neat,   pay attention to the quality of numeration imprint, continuously controls the quality of cuts, pays attention to the safe packaging of products, pay attention to delivery deadlines

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a Graphic operator is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for Printing operator. The main goal of the program is increasing the youth competencies in the printing industry and employment opportunities. Results of the training are acquired knowledge, skills, and attitudes for implementing the production process in the printing industry.

CNC OPERAToR

Occupational description: The area of operation of the CNC operator is very wide. The necessary knowledge for doing this work is from the field of engineering, but the CNC operator must also know to work on the software made in this field. The main competencies areas are: creating and reading technical drawings and technical documentation; using different work modes and processing types on CNC machine; using various kinds of tools (cutting, tightening, measuring and assistant tools) and material; securing quality and work safety in-line with standards and procedures; cleaning and maintaining machines.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: detail-oriented, neat, responsible, open to communication.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for CNC operator is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for CNC operator. The main goals are to increase employability and create opportunities for employment of youth through the development of in-demand skills in the metal-processing industry through implementation of work-based training for the profession of CNC operator. Results of the training are acquired knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the field of implementation of standards for reading and developing technical drawings; familiarity with technical documents and coordinate systems, measuring and controlling principles; familiarity with material and tools (tightening, cutting tools); familiarity with preparation process; familiarity with the principles and process of work of CNC machine; quality control and safety at work. 

KINDERGARTEN TEACHER/NURSE

Occupational description: Kindergarten teacher/ Kindergarten nurse works in kindergartens with healthy children from 1 to 3 years old, takes care of the children during their stay in kindergarten, nourishes, educates, socializes and directs them on the right path from the very beginning of life. The main competencies areas in this occupation are preparatory activities; implementing activities of kindergarten teaching and care; nursing and care; maintaining pedagogical documents and records.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: physically fit; detail-oriented; neat; open to communication; good listener; good observer; creative; good motivator; patient; caring; gentle; pays attention to children’s safety; organized; precise; kind; committed; expresses empathy.  

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a Kindergarten teacher/ Kindergarten nurse is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in kindergartens, which, which express the need for this occupation. The main goals of training are increasing employability and create opportunities for employment through the development of in-demand skills in health, social and education industry through implementation of work-based training for the profession of a Kindergarten teacher and Kindergarten nurse. Results of the training are acquired knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the field of theoretical knowledge of educational content and activities; theoretical knowledge on nursing and care; theoretical knowledge of diversified programs; theoretical knowledge on social and educational inclusion in pre-school institutions; practical implementation of the education process; theoretical knowledge of pedagogical documentation and its use; keeping pedagogical documentation.

LEATHER GOODS MANUFACTURER

Occupational description: Leather goods manufacturer makes and repairs different pieces and articles from the material. According to the obtained or self-created model, the Leather goods manufacturer takes a certain kind of material and tailor parts of the future product. The main competencies areas in this occupation, are tailoring; preparation (preparing leather or other materials); manual operations; sewing; finishing the process (sending the goods; consultations and sale; packing the products).

Attitudes required for this occupation are: responsible; familiar with all his/her rights, duties and obligations; precise; understands the importance of the operation and its contribution to the quality of the product; communicates well; team player; applies safety measures.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a Leather goods manufacturer is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for this occupation. The main goals of this trainings are enabling participants to independently perform tasks and activities in the leather processing industry and gain professional competencies in leather processing, in order to improve their employability and competitiveness in the labor market. General training results are enabling participants to tailor and model leather; enabling participants to perform preparatory activities with tailored parts of leather products; enabling participants to perform manual operations for producing leather products; enabling participants to use sewing machines; enabling participants to clean and control the products; enabling participants to pack the products; increasing the number of qualified and competent persons in the labour market; Increasing the employability of youth.

 

LOCKSMITH – Assembler

Occupational description: Locksmiths- assemblers are engaged in the production of various hand tools, simpler parts of machines, metal fences, metal windows, doors and other metal construction elements. The locksmiths can work indoors or outdoors, and It is obligatory to respect the safety measures at work and wear personal protective equipment. The main competencies areas in this occupation are: preparing material (cutting and drilling the material); assembling; welding; finishing (grinding, degreasing and coloring the metal part).

Attitudes required for this occupation are: precise;  good condition; responsible; good coordination; pay attention to work safety; use the personal protective equipment.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a Locksmith- assembler is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for this occupation. The main goals of this trainings are to develop theoretical and practical knowledge and skills of youth who don’t have any prior knowledge of mechanical engineering, in order to improve their employment. Results of the training are acquired knowledge, skills, and attitudes for implementing the main competences area.

 

APPAREL MANUFACTURER

Occupational description: Apparel manufacturer works in sewing salons and in the sewing industry, makes clothes, works on structural tailoring. All work is done in a closed room. This occupation contains a big number of competences areas, such as sewing tailored parts; interlining tailored parts; preparing the product for the client; making waistbands; final sewing; tailoring the fabric; preparing for sewing; maintaining the machines and workstation; making the lining; making individual parts of the product; processing of semi-finished products and finished product.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: neat; precise; responsible.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for an Apparel manufacturer is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for this occupation.

The program goal is for participants to gain theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to be able to independently perform as an Apparel manufacturer as well as gain competencies in this area. Program results are enabling participants to use the straight-stitching machine, overlock sewing machine, waistband-sewing machine, clinging machine, rapid and circular rapid, use the ring-sewing machine in order to implement all necessary activities.

 

SALES AGENT

Occupational description: Sales agent are very persuasive and persistent persons, because of the competences areas, which this occupation has: planning and control of sales; preparing for sale (choosing clients, presenting the product, analyzing clients’ needs, developing the offer); sales; sales monitoring – post-sales customer care.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: detail-oriented; analytical; precise; committed; systematic; shows initiative; persuasive; responsible; persistent; pays attention to professional ethics.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a Sales agent is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for this occupation. The program goal is to raise the level of competence of young college graduates and help them gain the necessary knowledge and skills and fully understand sales and sales management, through training model which includes theoretical training and on-the-job training. Also, the program will contribute to participants’ experience and enable unemployed young people to overcome the main obstacles that hinder their employment. Program results are developed key/expert competencies in planning and controlling sales, preparing for sales, sales, monitoring sales and customer care, communication.

TRANSPORT OPERATOR

Occupational description: Transport operator deals with: inventory management, managing of goods, planning the order of realization and distribution of goods, transport, and accommodation of waste, carrying out internal and industrial transport. The main competencies areas in this occupation are: operating the forklift; operating the lifting platform, operating the crane.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: responsible; pays attention to dangers and risks that may arise; pays attention to safety; detail-oriented.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a Transport operator is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for this occupation. Programme goal is to enable candidates to independently and safely operate internal transport machines (forklift, lifting platform, and crane), in order to increase the capacities of youth and make them more competitive on the labor market. Program results in theoretical part is familiarity with kinds and groups of internal transport machines (ITM), operating principles of ITM, safety measures, and principles, personal protective equipment, tools and principles for binding cargo, rules and principles for controlling.

 

JAVA DEVELOPER

Occupational description: Java developer is a person who works in Java programming language. it is designed as a programming language for the development of a large number of application software and its implementation in a variety of multi-platform environments.

The main competencies areas are project analysis; task realization (developing, implementing and testing solutions),  writing the code; code review; providing customer support; communication with project manager and/or team leader; professional development (learning, improving code writing).

Attitudes required for this occupation are: analytical, dedicated, creative, accurate, responsible, thorough, patient, team player, open to constructive criticism, open to suggestions.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a Java developer is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for this occupation. The program goal is to improve the position of young people in the labor market. The planned activities will enable youth employment through the development of specialized ICT skills and competencies that are highly in-demand by employers. General training results are enabling participants to work independently in project analysis, task implementation, code review, providing support to clients, communication and to secure their professional development.

 

JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER

Occupational description: JavaScript developer works in the field of JavaScript programming. The main competencies areas are: project analysis, coding; communication with project manager and/or team leader.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: analytics, dedication, creativity, accuracy, responsibility, thoroughness, patience, team player, open to constructive criticism, open to suggestions.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a JavaScript developer is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for this occupation. The program goal is to raise the level of employability and employment of young people from through the development of specialized ICT competencies for JavaScript programming, which is highly sought-after in the labor market, through development and implementation of the work-based learning program. General training results are enabling participants to work independently in project analysis, coding, and communication with project manager and/or team leader.

BLACKSMITH

Occupational description: Blacksmith is engaged in the production of products from iron, steel, and ferrous metal (wrought iron). A blacksmith works in a closed room, often in high-temperature conditions. The main competencies areas are: preparatory activities (putting on protective clothes, preparing smithing machines for work); forging; maintaining equipment and forging machines.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: precise, responsible, team player, open to communication, pays attention to work ethics.  

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a Blacksmith is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for this occupation. Main goals of this program are increasing the employability and create opportunities for employment of youth through the development of in-demand skills in the metal-processing industry through implementation of work-based training for the profession of Blacksmith. The results of the program are gained competencies in the field of understanding of technical documentation, measuring and controlling; knowledge about metal processing through deforming; practical implementation of the forging process using presses and hammers; implementation of heating procedure; maintaining forging equipment and machines; familiarity with safety procedures for hammers and presses.

BOOKKEEPER

Occupational description: The bookkeeper’s job involves the creation, maintenance, and keeping of financial and non-financial documentation in economic or non-commercial entities, in the bookkeeping agency for the account of clients. Bookkeepers, keep various types of records, in a standardized and legally prescribed manner, so that the results of someone’s business are visible and understandable to all stakeholders.

The main competencies areas are: commodity bookkeeping; financial bookkeeping; calculating VAT; payroll; professional development and monitoring of new regulations.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: precise, neat, responsible, patient, calm and tolerant, team player; willingness to learn.

TEMPERING TECHNICIAN

Occupational description: Tempering technician is tempering steel for tools for turbines, jet planes, CNC machines … The material is kale, sometimes there is heating at extremely high temperatures. The main competencies areas are: tempering in a salt bath; tempering in the induction furnace; tempering in the vacuum furnace; maintaining the machines and work area  

Attitudes required for this occupation are: detail-oriented, responsible, respect for rules and procedures for personal and workplace safety.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a Tempering technician is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for this occupation. The program goal is to increase employability and create opportunities for employment of youth through the development of in-demand skills in the metal-processing industry through implementation of work-based training for the profession of Tempering technician/electrician. Training results are gained competencies in the field of  theoretical knowledge of the metal structure; theoretical knowledge of phases of metal transformation; practical usage of thermal processing tools; implementation of thermal processing

 

SOMMELIER

Occupational description: In modern hospitality, Sommelier is a responsible person with excellent skills and knowledge regarding drinks, food and cigars. He/she must also be fully responsible for purchasing and storage of wine, setting prices and managing costs. Skilled sommelier has an excellent relationship with guests, fellow employees and superb marketing skills, which implies that this occupation is much more than mere wine-serving. The main competencies areas in this occupation are: preparatory activities (preparing restaurant; preparing serving inventory); planning and storage (developing wine list); wine serving; working with cigars (storing, recommending, serving).

Attitudes required for this occupation are: neat; responsible; precise; kind and polite; systematic; open to innovations; dedicated to life-long learning.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a Sommelier is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in restaurants and wine organizations, which express the need for this occupation. The program goal is to provide participants with all the necessary skills and knowledge in order to make them fully competent to implement all activities of a Sommelier, in accordance with the market needs. After the training, the participants will be able to: work with wines, prepare and implement preparatory activities, plan purchases, store and nurture wine, develop a wine list, serve wine properly, pair food with wine, recommend wine to a guest, cooperate with the chef, cooperate with the bartender and, serve cigars properly.

DENTAL TECHNICIAN

Occupational description: Dental technician builds complete or partial dental prostheses, does teeth upgrading, put bridges and make dental crowns. Mostly working in a sitting position, in the dental laboratories or clinics. He/she is part of the team that consists of a dentist and a dental nurse. The main competencies areas in this occupation are: making braces; making metal basis; making fixed extensions; making early models; the digital making of fixed extensions.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: responsibility, tolerance, precision, team player, the skill of fingers and hands, pay attention to work safety.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a Dental technician is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in dental laboratories or clinics, which express the need for this occupation. The program goal is to increase the quality and professionalism of work in dental laboratories. Candidates are supposed to acquire new knowledge necessary for the performance of a dental technician and be able to apply it in their work. After the training, as training result, participants will acquire the following competencies: the independent making of all kinds of braces; making of all kinds of the metal basis for prosthetics; a mastered technique for making fixed dental extensions; modeling of the individual tooth; managing the process of making digital fixed extensions.

 

RUBBER TECHNICIAN

Occupational description: Rubber technicians work with different specific types of tires, roll a mixture, process a raw rubber, make it confectioned and vulcanized.

The main competencies areas in this occupation are: managing orders of clients; maintenance of the machine and presses; preparation for production; vulcanizing; remounting; control and storage.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for Rubber technicians is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for this occupation. The aim of the vocational training is the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as skills and competencies so that the candidates can independently perform tasks of an operator for production and processing of rubber. Results of the vocational training are acquired skills for communication with customers and colleagues, maintaining the machines and the workplace, carrying out tasks in the production facility, canvas rubber, rubber rolling, fabrication of products and drilling of metal components to the appropriate dimensions.

 

UPHOLSTERER

Occupational description: Upholsterer, usually upholsters furniture, selects, measures and cuts the fabric, the wooden parts of the furniture agree with the springs, sponges, wool, synthetic materials and dresses them in various decorative fabrics and leather. Upholsterers work indoors, in companies or private workshops. The main competencies areas in this occupation are: preparing the upholstery; upholstering; assembling upholstered elements into the product.

Occupational description: Dairy technologist ensures consumer safety through the process of milk analysis and maintenance of its correctness and freshness, deals with packing and sorting of all obtained dairy products. Dairy technologist also supplies and organizes the distribution of milk and its products as well as conditions for adequate storage. The main competences areas are: implementing overall milk processing; making fermented products, making cheese; storing the products.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: conscientious, precise, careful, neat, responsible, communicate well.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a Dairy technologist is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for this occupation. The program goal is to increase employability and create conditions for the employment of youth by developing in-demand competencies within the dairy industry through on-the-job training for the profession Processing technologist. Program results are: familiarity and implementation of the legal framework and quality system in the dairy industry; familiarity with the process for receiving milk, methods for analyzing the quality and sorting milk and their implementation; familiarity with auxiliary raw materials and additives; familiarity with, monitoring and control of thermal processing process; implementation of sanitary measures; familiarity and monitoring of technological procedure for producing fermented dairy products and quality control of yogurt and aromatized yogurt; familiarity and monitoring of technological procedure for production of white cheeses; familiarity with the process for storing dairy products.

SEWER

Occupational description: His area of work includes designing and modeling, preparing and managing basic materials, plotting cuts, managing the plan according to parameters such as sample, color and size. Carries out manual tailoring or using molds, he composes and assembles sparkling and marked pieces of suits, sewing them and making finishing. Sewer works with different tools and on different machines. The main competences areas are: sewing on the ordinary machine – knitwear; sewing on the ordinary machine – static; sewing on the iberdeck machine; sewing on ring sewing machine; sewing on  hole sewing machine; sewing on overlook machine.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: responsibility, precision, neatness.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a Sewer is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for this occupation. The program goal is to train the candidates through acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to be able to independently perform duties and tasks within the profession. Training results are: trained practitioners for working on flat stitch sewing machines; trained practitioners for working on special sewing machines; trained practitioners for working on automatic machines; increased opportunities for employment, competence and competitiveness in the labor market.

 

GRAPHIC OPERATOR

Occupational description: Depending on the activity within the graphics profession, there are numerous graphics technicians/operators (graphic technician/operator for productions of signature form; a graphic technician/operator for making the signatures; a graphic technician/operator for printing; technical editor; graphic editor). The graphic operator works in graphic industry. The main competencies areas are: preparation of printed material for a book; linking books; formatting covers; finalizing the product; printing using an offset machine.

Attitudes required for this occupation are: responsibility, precision, neatness, pay attention to safety measures.

On-the-job training: On-the-job training for a Graphic operator is consists of theoretical and practical training. Practical training is conducted in companies, which express the need for this occupation. The program goal it the training of participants for independent work on graphic machines and inclusion in the process of production of graphic products (books). The result of the program is to enable participants to prepare the material for the preparation of the printing press based on technical documentation, to print the necessary quantity of material based on technical documentation, to prepare and formbook parts based on technical documentation, to form the product based on technical documentation.
